Time Out says

Opened in 2005, this Washington Heights museum and community center preserves portions of its former identity as the Audubon Ballroom, where Malcolm X was assasinated. A mural and several interactive kiosks help preserve the activist's legacy and that of his widow, Dr. Betty Shabazz; the Shabazz Center also sometimes plays hosts to meetings and performances, recently including Classical Theatre of Harlem's Henry V.
