The Pool Plays

The Pool, a pop-up theater company designed to help playwrights steer their own production destinies, takes up residence at the Flea with three new works in rep: Susan Bernfield's Tania in the Getaway Van, a riff on 1970s feminism and Patty Hearst; Peter Gil-Sheridan's The Rafa Play, in which a gay playwright escapes to Mallorca with Rafael Nadal; and Lynn Rosen's Washed Up on the Potomac, a dark comedy about proofreaders. Among the three casts are Annie McNamara, Jennifer Morris, Adam Green and Crystal Finn.
