The Secret History of the Swedish Cottage

It turns out that Central Park's oldest structure, the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre, has a story of its own to tell. The theater's latest production does just that, recounting the true tale of the cottage's Swedish origins and how it was transported to the United States in the 1870s. Sprinkling history with a bit of fairy dust is the marionette cast, which includes the likes of gnomes, sea creatures and other whimsical characters. All ages.
