After a brief run in Bryant Park in June, the Drilling Company returns to the Lower East Side for the 27th season of Shakespeare in the Parking Lot. This summer's play is The Winter's Tale, the Bard's bittersweet portrait of jealousy, love, repentance, angry bears and magic statuary. Director Hamilton Clancy sets the action in modern New York City, and also plays the disastrously wrongheaded king Leontes.
