The multiracial August Strindberg Repertory Theatre mounts the first installment of the bitter Swedish dramatist's experimental three-part drama (written between 1898 and 1904), a crypto-autobiographical investigation of sin and religion. Robert Greer directs the production, which moves the action to 1962 Harlem.
