Twelfth Night & Richard III

The Flea hosts a pair of Shakespeare productions in rep. The Mechanicals Theater Company's Twelfth Night, directed by Alexis Confer, gives a Jazz Age twist to the Bard's ever-popular comedy of cross-purposes, cross-dressing and cross-gartered socks. SoHo Shakespeare Company's version of the Tudor-friendly history play Richard III, directed by Alex Pepperman and starring Jeffrey Marc Alkins, sets the War of the Roses action in the Hamptons of today.
