Under the Radar 2011

The Public and downtown impresario Mark Russell present edgy new works from all over the globe, including Barry McGovern's definitive performance of Samuel Beckett's Watt and the Italian Motus company's contest-adaptation of Antigone. Other theatrical events around the city (notably T. Ryder Smith in Jon Lipsky's Living in Exile, Zachary Oberzan's newest show and Germany's Gob Squad at La MaMa) fall under the festival’s wide umbrella, so be sure to check the website for a complete schedule.
