Time Out says

4 out of 5 stars

Jennifer Kidwell and Scott Sheppard lead fifth-graders through a Civil War–themed game in their outrageously funny and discomfiting two-person show, directed by Taibi Magar. As the teachers' relationship spills into romance—fraught with awkwardness, guilt, fetishism, role play and rescue fantasy—the taboo-flouting script is matched by bold, smart performances. The production, which played at Ars Nova in 2016, returns now for a brief encore engagement. Read the full review here.
