Unnatural Acts

Conceived by director Tony Speciale and written collectively by 15 people, this drama is based on a secret 1920 purge of gay students at Harvard University. The production benefits from a committed cast, and although the play sometimes tips into earnestness (and the staging slights much of the audience), it tells a chilling story that is worth hearing.—Adam Feldman
