Time Out says

The institution will re-create the 1886 ceremony that followed the laying of the building’s dated bit of masonry—from its opening horn blast, courtesy of trumpeter Frank London, to a reception with punch and sponge cake, both popular treats at the time. In between, you’ll hear a lively set from London’s Klezmer Brass All-Stars, and a rendition of the Gilbert and Sullivan operetta Pirates of Penzance by the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene.
