Time Out says

Now is the perfect time to get a crash course on the history of fashion in NYC. Like, did you know that in the 1960s, more than 95 percent of clothing purchased in the U.S. was produced in our very own Garment District? Join the New York Adventure Club in learning about this and other pieces of fashion history with historians Sara Idacavage and Tessa Maffucci in this salon-style presentation inside a private apartment that used to be a part of a garment factory. The location will be announced to participants.
