Time Out says

Since the 1980s, New Yorkers have responded to the HIV/AIDS crisis with art, protests and legal action. This exhibition, which features archival objects from activist organizations alongside paintings, photographs and videos by David Wojnarowicz, Nan Goldin, Kia LaBeija, Luna Luis Ortiz and others, explores how NYC artists and activists have worked over the past three decades to foster community, caretaking and resistance.
