American Mavericks

In 2000, San Francisco Symphony music director Michael Tilson Thomas launched American Mavericks, a festival dedicated to 20th-century composers who push boundaries and explore new sounds. The series has taken up residence in NYC for just over two weeks, with a lineup of forward-thinking concerts, films, performances and workshops.
