Areté Ensemble

As part of their Get Your Gamel-On! series, accomplished young pianists Manon Hutton-DeWys and Melinda Faylor, both of whom studied gamelan in Indonesia, play works by Paul Dresher, Leopold Godowsky, John Adams and Claude Debussy that are inspired by the genre. They are joined by violinist Jennifer Choi and percussionist Frederick Trumpy.
