Babble 2015

The acronym BABBLE stands for "Big Apple Balboa, Blues and Lindy Exchange"—three dance styles that might be unfamiliar to you, mostly because they originated in the 1930s, when swing dancing was popular. The three-day fest features 20 hours of dancing and five live bands such as blues phenomenon Big Frank and the Healers. Highlights include a free tour of Harlem's historic venues, a potluck picnic and free drink at the bar. Stay past midnight on any given day for a late-night party, and if you're up for a challenge, take part in the annual dance competition.
