Williamsburg’s Bar Beau is a true women-led powerhouse with founder Claire Chan at the helm, and an all female team by her side. Appropriately, the Brooklyn outpost is hosting a dinner party in partnership with Planned Parenthood to honor International Women’s Day— and the strong female collaboration doesn’t stop there. Bar Beau is also partnering with other female backed business including Washington D.C.’s hip Republic Restorative Distillery, Rockaway Beach Bakery and Brooklyn-based beverage company Kombrewcha.
Head inside Bar Beau’s bright yellow doorway, passed the front coffee bar and through their curved portico, to find festivities kicking off in the back bar. Doors open to ticketed guests for pre-dinner drinks and seat assignments at 6pm. At 6:30, guests will enjoy a family-style meal prepared by Bar Beau’s Chef Gemma Kamin-Korn with a spread of things like crispy rice cake with mushroom and snow pea edamame, black bean cauliflower and short rib milanese. Dessert will be taken care of by Tracy Obolsky of Rockaway Beach Bakery.
Drink specials will go on all night and don’t miss specially-made cocktails by Bar Beau’s head bartender Isabella Marriot. A portion of the party’s proceeds will be donated to Planned Parenthood.
