Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project

Help revive Rockaway Beach with the Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project, which organizes volunteer cleanups and restorations of waterways around the country. You’ll be arranging old Christmas trees to encourage natural sand-dune formation, which protects the beach and the surrounding neighborhood during storms. Afterward, enjoy complimentary wine, snacks and live music by Ryan Star (183 Beach 96th St between Shore Front Pkwy and Joseph Alcamo Blvd; 2:30–4:30pm).
