Bill Smith, "Synthetic Bio Structure"

In addition to an MFA in sculpture, Smith has a degree in microbiology as well as a background in mechanics, all of which he puts to good use in installations and objects meant to suggest organic forms and natural systems, but more often than not resemble extraterrestrial flora.
