Black Christmas + Eyes Wide Shut

Time Out says

Eyes Wide Shut (Dec 9 and 16 at 12:10am) is secretly kind of a Christmas movie. (Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman begin unraveling at a Christmas party!) And Bob Clark’s 1974 late-night fave Black Christmas (Fri 2 and Sat 3 at 12:20am) is definitely a Christmas movie, albeit a very bloody, scream-filled one. Both screen after midnight in December at booze-and-grub cinematheque Nitehawk, because, come on, you’ve seen Love Actually enough, haven’t you? (If not, Love Actually is also at Nitehawk in December; just grab your tickets fast.) Sit back, relax, and get (slightly) in the spirit of the season by downing a few bourbon- or gin-spiked hot apple ciders.
