The Brooklyn Museum rings in Black History Month with a screening of Denzel Washington's The Great Debaters, a true-life tale of pioneer Melvin B. Tolson. This will be followed by talks from writer Kalia Brooks (on Lorna Simpson: Gathered) and curator of exhibitions Sharon Matt Atkins, as well asother activities.
