“Caribbean Garden”

If you’re not heading to warmer climes at any point this winter, take refuge at the New York Botanical Garden, which hosts its annual “Caribbean Garden." The seasonal exhibit shows off the institution’s permanent collection of orchids and palms, and boasts a balmy indoor climate hovering between 65 and 75 degrees. You can amble through rainforest mists, towering palms and deserts inspired by the landscape of the Caribbean islands.
