Somewhere between the “girl dinner” phenomenon and the great martini revival, a delicious idea took shape where the best nights are equal parts fancy and fun. Pour something elegant. Eat something messy. Apologize for nothing. Consider it permission to order a very particular martini and a basket of tenders in the same breath.

Cîroc is taking that philosophy to the Lower East Side on November 6 with Tenders & ’Tinis, a one-night pop-up with Dave’s Hot Chicken at Sommwhere. The star of the evening is the Martini Machini, a first-of-its-kind, self-serve martini machine that puts you in charge of your own drink at the push of a button. It’s Cîroc’s luxury meeting Dave’s down-to-earth deliciousness, and nobody has to choose.

Meet the Martini Machini

Remember the self-serve soda machines at the movie theater, where you mix your own perfect drink? The Martini Machini is that, but for martinis. Dial in your own ratio of brine, garnish and flair, and the machine builds it just the way you like it. Dirty martini devotees, this one is for you. Savory-curious? Bring it. It’s a great way to find out exactly how much pickle you can handle. “The Martini Machini is about giving people permission to play with the martini and make it their own,” says Nick Tran, President & CMO of Cîroc.

The Messy Martini, explained

The drink behind the machine is Cîroc’s new signature serve, the Messy Martini. It’s a layered, brighter twist on the classic dirty martini, made with Cîroc vodka plus pickle and banana pepper brine. The result is savory, a little unpredictable and built for people who like their martini with more personality. At the pop-up, though, you’ll build yours with a bespoke Dave’s Hot Chicken brine (and we’re here for it).

Why vodka and tenders just work

The best pairings are rarely about matching price tags. They’re about contrast. Cîroc, crafted in France from fine French grapes and distilled five times, brings the polish. Dave’s Hot Chicken brings the heat, the crunch and the zero-pretense deliciousness. A crisp, briny sip is a natural counterpoint to a spicy, crispy bite, and that push and pull is the whole point. Think of it as the classic steakhouse martini, burger and fries pairing, updated with tenders in the co-starring role.

Your hi-lo evening

Here’s the plan: RSVP for free, head to Sommwhere between 4 and 10pm, and you’ll get a martini made by the Martini Machini plus a Dave’s Hot Chicken meal item. Sip something crisp, chilled and elevated, then bite into something hot and gloriously unrefined. There’s also exclusive co-branded merch, because every great night needs a souvenir. Post-pickleball reward? Happy hour with friends? A spontaneous craving at 9pm on a Tuesday? All valid.
