Coney Island Film Festival

Each year, the Coney Island Film Festival presents a lineup of quirky shorts and features, depicting—but not limited to—mermaids, sideshow artists and current and former amusement-park rides. One annual highlight is the screening of cult classic The Warriors (Sat 14 at 10:30pm; $10), a 1979 thriller with some of the coolest street gangs ever. And also the Baseball Furies.
