Entertaining Science: MARS!

The landing of the Mars Curiosity rover seems like it happened a long time ago, but that little guy is still chugging along, doing doughnuts on the red planet’s surface. Composer Daniel Levy and librettist Elizabeth Margid preview their musical piece inspired by Ray Bradbury’s classic The Martian Chronicles. Afterward, professor Jim Bell will share some of the knowledge he’s gleaned from working on a number of Mars landing missions.
