Manhattan's isn't the only parade in town. Flushing, which is home to a large number of Chinese-Americans, has its own shindig, with dragon dancers, steel drummers, floats, fireworks and more. Afterward, stick around for a fete featuring performances and a cultural bazaar (Queens Crossing, 136-17 39th Ave between Main and 138th Sts), or head to one of the many Asian restaurants in the nabe to satiate your little (or big) appetite. Parade begins at Union St and 39th Ave, Flushing, Queens. All ages.
