FourLeaf Air Show at Jones Beach

One of Long Island's biggest summer traditions gets a patriotic makeover for America's 250th birthday. The FourLeaf Air Show at Jones Beach shifted from its usual Memorial Day slot to Fourth of July weekend (a.k.a. America's semiquincentennial), bringing the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, the U.S. Army Golden Knights, the Royal Air Force Red Arrows and the Canadian Forces Snowbirds to the skies above the beach. The festivities include a fireworks display on July 4, but the main air show takes place July 5 and 6 from 10am to 3pm. Best of all, admission is free (standard park parking fees apply, of course).
