The Brooklyn Museum looks beyond the pretty female faces on its gallery walls in this symposium exploring the nature of beauty, representations of race and gender, and depictions of women by female artists. Comedian Erica Watson, performance artist and drag king Shelly Mars, and illustrator Molly Crabapple will wrap the day up with a panel discussion.
