George Washington's Birthday Celebration

The country’s first president was badass enough to (eventually) trounce the British during the Revolutionary War, yet slick enough to keep his hair well-powdered. The Morris-Jumel Mansion served as Washington’s headquarters for his first Revolutionary victory in 1776 (shortly before his retreat from NYC), so it’s fitting that the historic house would host Washington’s Birthday Celebration. Historical reenactors will educate you about the prez, then let you try on a tricorne yourself.
