GhanaFest-NY brings a big dose of Ghanaian culture to Crotona Park on Saturday, August 1 from 6pm–8pm, with rapper Edem headlining an afternoon of music and celebration. The artist, who broke out with 2009’s The Volta Regime, will be joined by Ghanaian DJ and radio host Andy Dosty, so expect the Bronx to get a serious summertime soundtrack. It’s all part of this annual celebration of Ghanaian heritage—and, best of all, the whole thing is free.
