Gwar at House of Vans

For monster-metal pioneers Gwar, it’s Halloween all year round. With fellow purveyors of evil and really loud-playing guitarists Darkest Hour and Mutoid Man in tow, the Virginia shock-rock institution is taking its blowout stage show to Brooklyn’s House of Vans, where the band’s elaborate freak-show outfits and graphic enactments of violence are augmented by giant bizarre mascot installations courtesy of visual artist Dennis McNett.
