Central Park is celebrating 30 years of free local music and entertainment at the Harlem Meer water body with an expanded Harlem Meer Summer Festival. From July 15 to August 26, the park will be hosting free live music performances and movement classes for the whole family.
Some of the performances include:
— Oscar Feldman's Latin Jazz Machine (Latin Jazz): Sunday, July 16 at 2pm
— Luisito Rey y La Dinamica (Salsa): Sunday, July 23 at 2pm
— Sing Harlem (Gospel/R&B/Pop): Sunday, July 30 at 2pm
Movement classes include:
— Funkaerobics with Go Hard Dance: July 15, August 5, August 26
— Double Dutch with Double Dutch Dreamz: July 22, August 12
— Family Yoga Class with Harlem Yoga: July 29, August 19
