Harlem Renaissance Multimedia Walking Tour

This two-hour tour is offered each Saturday in August exploring 125 to 139th street, which is the home of what used to be known as Jungle Alley in the 1920s. The area housed 20 jazz clubs, including the one where Billie Holiday made her debut. Learn more about Harlem’s present day renaissance of music, art and poetry (and hearing stories about other neighborhood legends like Langston Hughes, Duke Ellington, and Zora Neale Hurston).
