Holi & Earth Day Celebration

In India spring is ushered in each year with Holi, a joyous Hindu holiday where celebrants gather at temples and public spaces to cover each other in powdered dyes and colored water. Learn about the history, mythology and customs of this tradition and celebrate International Mother Earth Day at the Queens Museum. After the presentation there will be special performances by Indian, Jewish, Korean, Ecuadorian and Guyanese dance groups.
