This boozy bazaar, hosted by cocktailcentric blog the Dizzy Fizz, is an ideal place to discover some special spirits for the holiday season. A host of purveyors—including Redemption Rye and Scorpion Mezcal—will pour their tipples in festive cocktails like the Old Fashion Apple Pie, made with Midnight Moon Apple Pie moonshine, rye whisky, muddled orange and Boker's bitters. Cocktail historian David Wondrich will also mix punch recipes such as Blow My Skull (Cockspur Rum, Pierre Ferrand 1840 Original Formula Cognac, Innis & Gunn beer, demerara sugar, lime juice and nutmeg). A portion of ticket proceeds will benefit the Children’s Aid Society, which provides services to underprivileged kids in New York.
