Neither is the Hudson River Park Trust, whose weekly social begins with a chance to learn steps to that night’s style of music via lessons conducted by Dance Manhattan at 6:30pm. Practice what you’ve picked up when the live band hits the stage at 7pm: Argentine tango master Hector Del Curto (Aug 4), swing big band David Berger Jazz Orchestra (Aug 11) and others provide the soundtrack to your breezy riverside soiree, the classiness of which is only enhanced by the vino, for sale courtesy of downtown venue City Winery.
