“Image Objects”

Seven artists (Alice Channer, Lothar Hempel, Jon Rafman, Amanda Ross-Ho, Timur Si-Qin, Hank Willis Thomas, and Artie Vierkant) have taken over City Hall Park with sculptural works created by turning two-dimensional images into three-dimensional objects with the help of digital tools like 3D printing. Each is explores how the urban landscape can transform an ephemeral sign into concrete presence.
