“In Pieces”

LEGO goes highbrow at this exhibit, for which attorney-turned-sculptor Nathan Sawaya teamed up with hyperrealist photographer Dean West. The resulting images—scenes in which one or two objects, such as an item of clothing or a cloud in the sky, are built out of the toy bricks—will be on display alongside the painstaking constructions.
