Breed a lover of science and technology from the beginning with hands-on courses that take learning outside the classroom. The JCC gives kids ages 6–10 an Intro to Coding at the onsite multimedia center, using a kid-friendly, 3D visual programming language called Kodu. With help from instructors, they’ll design way-cool, original video games and understand concepts like loops, variables and constructors. Curious little ones can create slime, exploding volcanoes and even rainbows in Weird Science sessions (ages 4–5), while mini makers explore STEM principles and tackling projects in the Young Inventors Club (ages 7–9). Ages 4–10.

One of those places where the ticket price is worth it. Excellent, supportive children's classes: love the swim coaches, and Jen and Dana's Wait Listed Hip Hop class is worth the battle to get in! Do wish that they would fix that one elevator...but otherwise, love the people that I have met her, classes and workshops I have attended, and general clean, welcoming environment.

The facilities here are wonderful. I use the JCC for it's pool and gym, but the community is so lovely and the courses they run look so fantastic that I'm looking to take cooking classes there too. The pool is always clean, well maintained, and you have most the training aids you'll need there. The locker rooms are well equipped with towels, shampoo, lotions. It's not equinox level, but for the price, you are very well looked after. The gym is really nice too. Technology is up to date with treadmills having iphone plug in spots and TV's. It's very clean too, and never overcrowded.
