July 4th at The Water Club

The Water Club’s patio and roof deck Crow’s Nest transports the flare of a low-key bar by the ocean to the shores of the East River. While the Fourth of July price is nothing to sneeze at—$200 per person, which includes all grub and cocktails—it would be hard to find these close-up views of the fireworks elsewhere. (Four barges set them off on the East River right in front of you.) Plus, the all-American eats, like hamburgers, pulled pork and baby back ribs, shouldn’t be ignored. Make sure you get your money’s worth by washing down those oysters and clams with libations from the open bar.
