Leaping Tall Buildings: The Origins of American Comics

The powerHouse hosts an afternoon of panel discussions to celebrate the release of Christopher Irving’s new history of the comic-book industry, Leaping Tall Buildings: The Origins of American Comics, which features photos by Seth Kushner. In addition to Irving and Kushner, participants include longtime X-Men writer Chris Claremont, Minimum Wage artist Bob Fingerman, and Green Lantern and Batman vet Denny O’Neil. The post-talk party with DJ Ron Scalzo starts at 6pm.
