Time Out says

For a memorable Valentine's Day, play out your bookish love affair on the dancefloor at the New York Public Library's After Hours party and grow closer to the literature that you adore.

The NYPL's popular night party is back with music and dancing, drinks and a slew of activities bibliophiles will love.

Actor Raúl Esparza (Law & Order, BoJack Horseman), playwright Jessica Hagedorn (Dogeaters, The Gangster of Love), actress Sonia Manzano (Sesame Street, The Revolution of Evelyn Serrano), poet David Tomas Martinez (Post Traumatic Hood Disorder, Hustle), and actress Ellen Burstyn (Requiem for a Dream) will dramatically read love poems to you while librarians do book matchmaking and run literary trivia.

Stop by the "Picturing Your Love" interactive collections display to see some of the library's most romantic items and make your own bookmark inspired by them.

And as always, there will be dancing to a live DJ set this time by DJ Rimarkable.

The party is the love note to literature you've always wanted to write.

Pay what you wish entry will begin at 8pm, with a suggested admission price of $15.
