Gather 'round for a story at Little Island's Storytelling Festival where you'll hear performers use theatrical and eclectic styles to animate the park with imagination and delight. You'll hear a diverse mix of stories with tales of all types and stories for all ages.
Singer-songwriters, musicians, poets, and more will illuminate storytelling in a variety of art forms in this festival is curated by Little Island Artists-in-Residence PigPen Theatre Co. Stories include a new concert musical about two stargazing sisters, two evenings of stories about power, and the first theatricalized version of the Grammy Award winning album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill performed by Broadway for Racial Justice will present.
The event runs from Wednesday, September 7 through Sunday, September 18. Tickets are free and available for reservation online.
