Time Out says

Author Howard Phillips Lovecraft, who believed reasoning was an act of insanity, argued that the universe is fundamentally incomprehensible. In this new exhibit, curator Dylan Thuras, cofounder of Atlas Obscura, has invited artists—like Esao Andrews, Aeron Alfrey and Johnny Ryan—to contribute work inspired by Lovecraft’s science-fiction novels, written between 1917 and 1935, which are riddled with mythic creations like the Necronomicon.
