The legacy of modern dance pioneer Martha Graham is kept alive at this West Village complex, which is home to the Martha Graham Dance Company, the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance and studio theater that was formerly home to the Merce Cunningham Dance Company. The studio is rented to a variety of independent choreographers.
