Meet the Lady: Movie Montages

Pay homage to one of cinema’s goofiest tropes during this event. Performer Tom Blunt—who runs the blog Meet the Lady (meetthelady.tumblr.com)—assembles a panel of “experts” and presenters to examine this particular film cliche, in which a woman’s life is magically improved through the power of new clothes and makeup. Panelists will opine on their favorite movie makeovers, and may even offer some (questionable) fashion advice.
