A century after his birth, jazz legend Miles Davis gets a fittingly intimate tribute at Harlem's Smoke Jazz Club (2751 Broadway between 105th and 106th Streets), where a powerhouse quintet takes over for five nights. Led by trumpeter Eddie Henderson and saxophonist Gary Bartz, with drum legend Billy Hart (all of whom played with Davis), the sets dig into the music icon's restless, genre-bending catalog May 27–31.
