Disgusting birds hovering around you too close for comfort? We New Yorkers can relate. Yep, the unexplained avian attacks in the 1963 suspense horror The Birds possibly hit too close to home for a lot of us, but Hitchcock's brilliant directing makes you want to keep watching no matter how horrific. The night starts out with a hip-hop set by DJ Kiva, known for his Afro-Cuban–inspired dub beats. Right after that, stay tuned for Woodhouse, a short film by London director Fred Rowson. Good news for cyclists: There will be free parking courtesy of Transportation Alternatives. Better arrive early—the birds are watching.
