New Year's Day Celebration: Oshogatsu

This Japanese New Year celebration will include lion dancing (shishi-mai) with live taiko drumming, special New Year's calligraphy (kakizome), traditional rice pounding (to make mochi, a traditional New Year food) and kamishibai storytelling.
