This one is sure to be a fun one: the Street Vendor Project, a membership-based program that seeks to protect the rights of New York City street vendors, is launching a massive, city-wide scavenger hunt meant to "encourage New Yorkers to visit their local street vendor [and] help the industry recover from the economic effects of COVID-19."
The process is pretty simple: you can either create your own team or join an existing one. As a group, you'll have to raise $26 and select a team leader who will receive exact instructions to play the game, which will include challenges, sampling foods and more. You'll also gain access to a mobile app that will guide you through the one-month-long hunt.
We can't think of a better way to enjoy some of New York's most eclectically delicious food offerings while also paying it forward.
