Running is optional at Peak and Pace's Festival of Nations, which means you don't have to stretch beforehand. Instead, the Brooklyn run club's annual celebration swaps mileage for music, food and community on Saturday, July 25, filling Brooklyn Roots Collective with DJs, vegan Afro-Caribbean and Latin fare, dance circles, artisan vendors and its signature Flag Parade. Bring a flag that represents your heritage or come ready to cheer everyone else on. It's less finish line, more global block party, and that's exactly the point.
